Anantnag, Aug 24 (JKNS): The newly constructed Lawyers’ Chambers at the District Court Complex, Anantnag, were inaugurated by Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, in the presence of senior judicial officers, members of the Bar and other dignitaries.

On the occasion, experienced contractor Abdul Hamid Ganie was honoured by the Principal District and Sessions Judge (PDJ), Anantnag, in the presence of the Acting Chief Justice and other judicial dignitaries, in recognition of his professional commitment, quality workmanship and significant contribution towards the timely completion of the judicial infrastructure project.

Ganie was particularly appreciated for completing 26 Advocate Chambers within a period of just two months. The expeditious execution of the project was described as a noteworthy accomplishment, reflecting effective project management, technical competence and a strong commitment to timely delivery.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by members of the judiciary, advocates and other officials, who appreciated Ganie’s experience, professionalism, efficiency and dedication in executing the construction work within the stipulated timeframe.

The Principal District and Sessions Judge, Anantnag, appreciated the contractor’s concerted efforts and prompt execution of the project, noting that the completion of the substantial infrastructure work within a limited period was commendable.

The newly constructed chambers are expected to provide improved professional facilities and a more conducive working environment for advocates practising at the District Court Complex. The additional infrastructure is also expected to strengthen facilities for the legal fraternity and facilitate the smooth functioning of court-related activities.

Members of the Bar and other dignitaries present on the occasion also lauded Abdul Hamid Ganie for his hard work, technical proficiency and adherence to quality standards throughout the construction process.

The honour bestowed upon Ganie recognises his contribution to the augmentation of judicial infrastructure in Anantnag and his role in ensuring the timely completion of an important project at the District Court Complex.

The inauguration of the Lawyers’ Chambers marks another significant step towards improving facilities for the legal fraternity and strengthening the infrastructure supporting the administration of justice in the district. (JKNS)
