Srinagar, Aug 31 (JKNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered the transfer, posting and repatriation of several police officers in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), J&K, with immediate effect.
The order has been issued vide Government Order No. 47-JK-GAD(Vig) of 2026, dated August 31, 2026, by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju, IAS, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS stated that, Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, JKPS, Additional SP, SIA Kashmir, has been transferred and posted in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K, against an available vacant post.
Mudasir Ahmed Tramboo, JKPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police posted in ACB, J&K, has, upon his promotion, been posted as Superintendent of Police in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K.
The government has also repatriated SSP Zahoor Ahmad Wani and SSP Ayaz Ahmad Sheikh, both posted in ACB, J&K, to the Home Department for further posting.
Meanwhile, four Dy.SPs have been transferred and posted in the ACB against available vacant posts. They include Umer Rashid (JKPS-155782) from CID CI Budgam, Swati Sharma (JKPS-125706) from Dy.SP Political SB Jammu, Showkat Zarger (ARP-981650) from JKAP 5th Battalion, and Manzoor Ahmad (EXK-951950) from AC Home Guards, Kulgam.
The order further states that Ashwani Kumar Angotra (EXJ-986443) and Yog Raj (EXJ005608), Inspectors posted in ACB, have, upon their promotion, been posted as Dy.SPs in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K.
Three Dy.SPs posted in ACB—Sagar Singh (EX3-935624), Gurmeet Singh (EXJ-005598) and Narinder Singh (EXJ-925463)—have been repatriated to the Home Department for further posting.
The order was issued in the interest of administration, with reference to the minutes of the meeting of the Designated Committee held on August 5, 2026. (JKNS)
