Shopian, Sep 20 (JKNS): An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) has been detected by security forces in an orchard area of Awneera in Zainapora area of Shopian district on Sunday evening.
A senior J&K Police officer confirmed to news agency JKNS that the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected.
The area has been cordoned off and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has been deployed at the spot for further examination and necessary action.
