Bandipora, Oct 5 (JKNS): T20 Cricket tournament organised by District Police Bandipora under civic action programme concluded on Monday.
The tournament was played on Knockout basis . About 16 teams from different areas of Gurez & Tulail participated in the tournament.
The final match was played between Wanpora and Chontiwari. Chontiwari team after electing to bat scored 185 runs in 19.5 overs . Wanpora team could chase only 169 runs for the loss of 08 wickets in alloted 20 overs and lost the match by 16 runs .
DIG NKR Baramula Vinod Kumar IPS was chief guest and Ajaz Ahmed Zargar, SSP Bandipora was guest of Honour on the occasion, who presented awards, cash prizes and medals to winner and Runner up teams.
Large number of people and cricket lovers of Gurez valley witnessed the final match. (JKNS)
