Srinagar, May 20 (JKNS): A 32-year-old man from the Mehjoor Nagar area of Srinagar succumbed on Wednesday after allegedly attempting suicide by setting himself ablaze.
Official sources told the news agency JKNS that the man has been admitted to SMHS Hospital yesterday with severe burn injuries after allegedly pouring some inflammable substances on himself at his residence in Mehjoor Nagar.
The deceased was identified as Zaid Amin, son of Mohammad Amin Khan, a resident of Mehjoor Nagar Srinagar.
Meanwhile, investigations has been taken up.(JKNS)
