Srinagar, Apr 15 (JKNS): One person died while two others were injured in a road traffic accident at Shadipora Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that three injured persons were initially taken to Sub District Hospital Sumbal and later referred to JVC Hospital Bemina for advanced treatment.
He said the deceased has been identified as Raja Begum (55), a resident of Naidkhai Sumbal, who succumbed to injuries at JVC Hospital Srinagar.
The two injured persons, aged 30 and 22 years respectively, both residents of Naidkhai Sumbal, are stated to be stable, he said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
