Srinagar, Apr 28 (JKNS): The Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) on Tuesday welcomed the Delhi High Court’s decision to grant interim bail to Baramulla Member of Parliament Er Rashid to enable him to meet his critically ill father, terming the move a reflection of compassionate justice.
As per news agency JKNS, AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi said the court’s decision demonstrates a balance between legal procedure and humanitarian considerations, calling it a timely intervention that strengthens faith in the judicial system.
He said the order has brought relief to the family and those closely following the case, adding that such decisions ensure that humanity remains at the core of justice.
Inam Un Nabi remarked that the ruling highlights the role of courts not only as interpreters of law but also as guardians of human dignity and values.
He further said that allowing an elected representative to be with his ailing father reflects the humane face of justice and underlines the importance of empathy in democratic institutions.
